Daniel Cooley is the Celebrity Gay Matchmaker and Executive Love Recruiter behind Best Man Matchmaking, where he’s dedicated to helping gay men find real, lasting love. His journey began over a decade ago when he founded The Thrive Tribe, a West Hollywood nonprofit supporting GBTQ men and fighting HIV stigma, earning him the nickname “The Divine Connector.”
With over thirteen years as a massage therapist working closely with GBTQ clients, Daniel developed deep insight into the struggles many men face around loneliness and connection. This empathy, combined with his natural charisma and leadership, makes him a trusted guide not only in love but also in life.
An avid traveler, Daniel loves exploring new cultures and brings that same spirit of adventure to hosting group experiences. People are his passion, and whether matchmaking or leading journeys abroad, he thrives on building community and helping others discover meaningful connections.

Days 1-3: Bangkok - Cultural & Culinary Exploration
- Arrival in Bangkok – Check into The Raweekanlaya Bangkok (or similar), meet your fellow travelers at the Welcome Reception & Group Dinner (drinks included), followed by an Evening Social Experience. (Included Meals: Dinner)
- Bangkok City Highlights Tour – Explore Bangkok by boat, tuk-tuk, and Skytrain, visiting Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Chinatown, and experiencing a traditional Klong boat ride. (Included Meals: Breakfast)
- Thai Foodie & Cooking Class – Hands-on experience with a local chef, including a market visit. Enjoy a Special Afternoon/Evening Matchmaking Experience. (Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
Days 4-5: Koh Tao - Island Life & Snorkeling
- Flight to Koh Tao – Fly from Bangkok to Koh Tao via Chumphon, check into Seashell Koh Tao Resort (or similar), and enjoy a group dinner. (Included Meals: Breakfast)
- Snorkeling Adventure – Full-day excursion to Koh Nang Yuan, Mango Bay, Hin Wong Bay, Ao Leuk, and Shark Bay, with lunch on board. (Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
Days 6-7: Koh Pha Ngan - Relaxation & Exploration
- Ferry to Koh Pha Ngan – Check into Salad Beach Resort (or similar). Afternoon free to explore waterfalls, lagoons, hike, or relax on the beach, followed by a group dinner. (Included Meals: Breakfast, Dinner)
- Free Day – Enjoy the island at your own pace. Optional activities include yoga, meditation, spa treatments, or a local cooking class. (Included Meals: Breakfast)
Days 8-9: Koh Samui - Island Culture & Marine Park Adventure

- Ang Thong National Marine Park Excursion – Full-day boat tour with snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking panoramic viewpoints, with lunch on board. (Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
Days 10-11: Farewell & Departure
- Final Day in Koh Samui – Morning at leisure followed by a Special Farewell Dinner in Koh Samui. (Included Meals: Breakfast, Dinner)
- Departure from Koh Samui – Transfers to Koh Samui International Airport (USM) for flights home. (Included Meals: Breakfast)

- Group transfers to the starting hotel will be provided for arrivals around the recommended times.
- If arriving outside of these times, private transfers can be arranged for an additional fee.

Departures – Bangkok (BKK)

🕘 Earliest Recommended Departure Time: After 15:00 (3:00 PM)
- Travelers will board a 1.5-hour flight from Koh Samui to Bangkok on the final morning.
- The tour officially ends upon arrival at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).
- Any international flights should be booked no earlier than 15:00 (3:00 PM) to allow for airport transfers and check-in.
- If you wish to extend your stay, our CEO can assist with additional travel arrangements.
Travel Insurance
We suggest TravelEX Insurance Services – Click here for a quote. Travel insurance is mandatory. You must provide proof of insurance to join the group. The policy should include medical coverage and at least USD 200,000 for repatriation and emergency rescue. We also recommend coverage for personal liability, cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage and personal effects. Most insurance companies require policies to be purchased within 15 day of initial payment of the trip for full coverage/cancellation insurance. Please send proof of travel insurance to chris@prideat.com once you have purchased it, and I will save it within your departure details.
