  • Tackle the challenging ascent to Dead Woman’s Pass, the highest point of the trek at 4,198 meters (13,769 feet).

  • Reach the Pacaymayo campsite by early afternoon, with time to rest and relax.

Day 3: Pacaymayo Campsite to Wiñay Wayna Campsite

Distance: 16 km (9.9 miles)
